Mag. Margot Gutmann

Managing Director

Ms. Gutmann’s expertise includes financial analysis and forecasting, corporate restructuring, financial auditing, and healthcare.

Her casework typically involves pro forma enterprise and market financial modeling, multi-scenario equity and debt-financed capital structuring, and balance sheet forecasting. Her strategic diligence activities leverage her extensive financial forecasting and auditing skills in both U.S. and multinational accounting environments.

Ms. Gutmann acquired extensive financial experience as Vice President, Merchant Banking at Bank Arbeit Wirtschaft, AG in Vienna, Austria, where she managed acquisitions and private equity investing for the bank’s Board of Directors. Her responsibilities included board representation, valuation, auditing, and credit facility for privately-held companies throughout the E.U. Prior to BAWAG, Ms. Gutmann was a Senior Auditor at Weiler and Weiler, a leading E.U. auditing and tax consultancy.

Ms. Gutmann studied Pharmaceutical and Clinical Sciences at Vienna, where she was awarded certification and licensure in Pharmaceutical Representation by the Austria State Ministry of Health. She was awarded Magister der Wirtschaftswissenschaften Certifications in Finance and Economics at Karl-Franzens University in Graz, Austria, where she completed her thesis on the financial auditing of private healthcare delivery systems. She studied accounting at the Austrian State Academy of Business in Klagenfurt, Austria, and holds Certifications in Accounting and Financial Practices from the Austrian State Board of Diplomates.

Ms. Gutmann is fluent in several languages.
