Position Description:
As a director, the successful
applicant will lead, manage, and actively participate
in client engagements, support practice development initiatives,
and achieve continuous individual professional development.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive client service at
a level of quality that sets the industry standard
- Achieve continuous individual professional
development
- Serve a variety of emerging and industry-leading
clients within the new chemical entities and biopharmaceuticals
industry segments
- Generate important client engagements
with significant pull-through revenues
- Manage teams of talented professionals
and effectively utilize professional and support staff
- Understand and continuously strengthen
our work processes and service products within the
target practice area
- Effectively integrate PROFORMANT Knowledge
Warehouse and PROFORMANT Financial Modeling Workbench
systems into work processes and engagement deliverables
- Apply strategic, analytical, industry-specific,
technical, and financial skills and knowledge as an
active participant in client engagements
- Achieve individual top and bottom-line
financial performance goals within the target practice
area
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years successful professional
services experience with a top firm (Big 5, leading
strategy consultancies, investment and/or merchant
banking with significant transaction experience, etc.)
- Immediate ability to manage client
projects, an established network of industry contacts,
and a proven aptitude for business development
- Advanced degree(s) in business, medicine,
life sciences, and/or law from leading institutions
(combined MD/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years target industry experience
in development and/or executive roles
- Documented ability to achieve continuous
individual professional development
- Excellent presentation and communication
(both oral and written) skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative,
financial modeling, and transactional knowledge and
skills
- Industry-specific skills and knowledge
of target industry segments, markets, products, product
development processes, and product registration processes
- Must be available for 50% travel, at
times with short notice
- Must be willing to work hours as needed
to meet client needs and deadlines
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
