Position Description:
As a research analyst, the successful
applicant will contribute to client engagements, support
all members of the client engagement team, and achieve
continuous individual professional development.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive client service at
a level of quality that sets the industry standard
- Achieve continuous individual professional
development
- Serve a variety of emerging and industry-leading
clients within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology,
medical device, and diagnostics industries
- Effectively support all members of
the client engagement team
- Understand and continuously strengthen
our work processes
- Effectively integrate PROFORMANT Knowledge
Warehouse and PROFORMANT Financial Modeling Workbench
systems into work processes and engagement deliverables
- Develop and apply analytical, industry-specific,
technical, and financial skills and knowledge as an
active participant in client engagements
- Achieve individual performance and
professional development goals
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years successful professional
services experience with a top firm (Big 5, leading
strategy consultancies, investment and/or merchant
banking with significant transaction experience, etc.)

- Immediate ability to contribute to
client engagements
- Undergraduate and/or advanced degree(s)
in medicine, engineering, life sciences, and/or business
from leading institutions
- Minimum 2 years target industry experience
in a development role preferred
- Documented ability to achieve continuous
individual professional development
- Excellent presentation and communication
(both oral and written) skills
- Analytical, quantitative, financial
modeling, and transactional working knowledge and
skills
- Industry-specific skills and knowledge
of target industry segments, markets, products, product
development processes, and product registration processes
preferred
- Must be available for 50% travel, at
times with short notice
- Must be willing to work hours as needed
to meet client needs and deadlines
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
