CLINIVATION, INC. ACQUIRES CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT
AND REGULATORY SERVICES BUSINESS UNITS OF PROFORMANT, INC.
PROFORMANT achieves singular focus on biomedical
corporate development.

31, 2001 — PROFORMANT,
Inc. announced today that its clinical development and regulatory
services business units have been acquired by clinivation,
Inc.
“The acquisition of our highly-successful
clinical development and regulatory services business units
by clinivation enables us to achieve a singular focus on biomedical

also increases the capital resources available to fuel our

PROFORMANT’s clinical development and regulatory
services business units have enabled clients to rapidly achieve
the major milestones of pre-production GMP quality operations,
product clinical feasibility, product clinical validation,
and FDA approvals. The teams specialized in turnkey, integrated
execution of the entire set of external preclinical, clinical,
regulatory, and approval activities for medical device and
diagnostic companies. As a complete-mission-capable CRO, the
teams expedited numerous multi-center clinical development
programs and FDA product approvals on timelines far shorter
than industry averages.
